I am a General Medical Practitioner with over 30 years of experience. I initially worked in Paediatrics before moving into Family Medicine and specialising in Lifestyle Medicine.
I am fascinated by how we live and what influences the development of diseases, especially those affecting the brain, and what we can do to protect, and enhance brain performance.
I provide holistic, personalised recovery programmes to optimise brain health. These focus on nutrition for the brain and the microbiome (Brain-Gut Axis), sleep, movement, reducing toxin exposure and improving mental clarity and life management strategies.
I use evidence-based lifestyle interventions that have been shown to promote recover and work in conjunction with prescribed standard medication.
This approach is mainly designed to enhance recovery from acquired brain injury (e.g., stroke, trauma) and mental health conditions and minimise the effects of ageing and neurodegenerative conditions. It focuses on improving performance and anti-ageing (menopause).
